You know, when you hear people say that "It's just nice to be nominated," it really is true.

I found out this week that I have been nominated in 2 catagories for the 2018 Saskatchewan Country Music Association Awards, and YES it is VERY Nice!

My new album "Day Night" has been nominated for "Album of the Year" and I also have a nod in the "Roots Artist of the Year" catagory. I've been playing and recording my music for a long time, as most of you know, so being recognized in this way by your industry peers validates my work and just says that, hey maybe you're doing OK after all! lol But seriously, it really is pretty darn cool.

The Awards take place in Prince Albert, SK on April 27-29, 2018. Tickets are available now so if you want to go there are lots of events and fun to be had. I'm also going to be a part of the "Songwriters circle" on the Saturday so you might want to come and listen to some great Sask talent sing their songs. It's going to be a great weekend and I'll keep you posted on social media on how it all goes down. Wish me Luck! TJE
